Incorporating a learning-through-doing approach, this student-centered text is designed to develop the oral communication skills needed in academic and professional settings. Task-based listening activities, conversations, small group discussions, and individual presentations are based on real-life situations including getting acquainted, interacting in class, maintaining a conversation, speaking to a group, and developing a presentation.
