Our Shops
Our Piccadilly Store
Our Piccadilly Store
Hatchards Bookshop was founded by John Hatchard in 1797, and holds two Royal Warrants. It is a beautiful five-storey bookshop on Piccadilly, located next to Fortnum and Mason and opposite the Royal Academy.
Our St Pancras Store
Our St Pancras Store
At Hatchards St Pancras we are proud to continue and build upon the tradition and prestigious history of our Piccadilly flagship, the oldest bookshop in London. We are a literary oasis amongst the hustle and bustle of the station and have recently moved to a bigger and brighter location right at the heart of the shopping concourse. Stocked by an even better range of books and gifts we can ensure that your journey is full of wonder, no matter the destination.
Our Cheltenham Store
Our Cheltenham Store
Since 1797, Hatchards have been at the heart of the literary scene in London. Thus, when looking to add a third shop to complement our flagship in Piccadilly and our sister shop in St Pancras, we thought it only right to open our doors in the beautiful market town of Cheltenham, the jewel in the crown of literary Gloucestershire. With a focus on history, art, and biography, as well as traditions of old fashioned service and personal attention, all at Hatchards look forward to emulating and expanding upon Cheltenham's existing literary traditions with our books, our booksellers, and our own literary heritage.
