“The most important takeaway: “Do What No One Else Has Done””
(Paperback)
by Ian
Whether it’s building start-ups or making daily decisions, the insights from this book can be applied to many situations. One point — probably the most important — is that the most valuable thing you can do is something no one has done before. By doing so, you can create the greatest value and potentially achieve a market monopoly. Another key point is this: “As a startup founder, if you find yourself in fierce competition with your products, you’ve already lost, because you’re unlikely to achieve true monopoly.” Overall this book provides great insights with a concise writing style. You wouldn't see unnecessary details here.
“Entrepreneurship was never so interesting, or entertaining!”

Zero to One by Peter Thiel, a highly successful entrepreneur, venture capitalist, hedge-fund manager and social critic, is a relatively short but highly concise book that conducts a fresh and exciting exploration of the many motivations that underpin modern entrepreneurship. It is well-written and contains humor, insight and wisdom that are drawn from Thiel's many years in business. It will help you to get your head in the right place for business success rather than help you to balance your books; in this regard, the book is definitely more inspirational than it is practical. Nevertheless, it is an un-put-downable read.
