Reviews: Zagazoo (2)
“As much for you as your children”
(Paperback)
As someone who's children are now well into teenage years I keep on reflecting on the truths that I learnt from reading Zagazoo to them all those years ago (and looking forward to the final transformations).
“Very overrated”
(Paperback)
I had read so many good reviews about this book but was disappointed. The illustrations are great as you'd expect from Quentin Blake, but I found the story very average, and if it's aimed at small children, very confusing! Trying to explain to our four year old that we have to be gentle with her new baby brother, and the new parents in the book are throwing the baby from one to the other! Yes, I know it's meant to be amusing, but there are much better books out there.
