I’ve not actually read that many Xmen comics more the cartoon & some of the movies. Definitely never read the original Xmen comics so when I came across this I had to get it. It has a lot of the original run of the Xmen minus I believe two issues, one where they face of against the Avengers & the other the first time they encounter the Juggernaut. It even has extra background information about the comic. Also a spoiler alert if like me one of your favourite Xmen is wolverine then be warned he’s not one of the original Xmen. Magneto & the brother hood of evil Mutants do make some appearances. If you want to know how the Xmen began then do give this a read.

Growing up having watched the Xmen cartoons haven’t really read any of the original comics. Came across this collection and just to point out certain issues are not in it but it does start from issue 1. It’s a collection on the original Xmen comic’s which is very different to the cartoons & movies. Well worth a read if you’re interested in the source material that started everything.
