Reviews: Wundersmith (20)
“As good as the first”
(Paperback)
I had read the first book and was hooked and this book did not disappoint it was just as brilliant as the first book I can't wait for the 3rd book.
“Filled with fun, bright energy all the way through.”
(Hardback)
I absolutely loved Nevermoor, I was raving about it for months (and still am to be honest). Everyone should read these books, regardless of age, they are just superbly done!
Wundersmith picks up after Nevermoor left off, but just because she made it into the Wundrous Society it doesn't mean life is going to be easy for Morrigan. Her teachers are downright bizarre and don't trust her, her lessons are dull, her patron Jupiter North is constantly away, someone is blackmailing her friends and now people are going missing! Naturally Ezra Squall is the cause of some of this mischief, but could there also be a traitor inside WunSoc?
“Even more WUNderful than I'd hoped!”

Nevermoor: Wundersmith: The Calling of Morrigan Crow Book 2 - Signed Edition (Hardback) by Jessica Townsend
Nevermoor was one of my favourite books last year, and probably one of my most loved children's books ever, so to say I was madly excited to read this would be an understatement. And Wundersmith didn't disappoint-it's absolutely amazing, and a perfect continuation of the Nevermoor series.
Morrigan is no longer be a cursed child-she has been accepted into the Wundrous society, she has a home at the magical Deucalion with her mentor Jupiter North and she has her best friend Hawthorne, as well as her 'brothers and sisters' of Unit 919. But nothing is ever so simple or straightforward...
People are going missing in Nevermoor, Morrigan's classes at Wunsoc are not what she was expecting (to say the least), and Jupiter is gone more than he's home. I won't go into a description of the plot as I don't want to spoil it for anyone, and because, to be honest, I just don't think I could do it justice. But you can be rest assured that this is just as amazing as you've hoped it would be! Jessica Townsend's world building skills and humour and are just as sharp, if not more so, as in Nevermoor, and this is building into an incredible series!
“Exciting just isn't the word!”

If i could i would give this 10 stars! To say i loved it is an understatement! I read Nevermoor (book 1) and I loved it. It was one on the best children's books i have read in a very long time! I would say that anyone would love this book. No matter what their age! I had been waiting, rather impatiently i must add, for book number two to come out. A very long wait! But thanks to the publisher i have gotten an advanced copy! Thank you so much for this I love you all!
Now to the book. Morrigan Crow is no longer the cursed child she was at the beginning. No, She has her family - Unit 919 - Her best friends and best of all she is accepted. What more can you possibly want?
Ezra squall is back. He is causing all kinds of Chaos. There are; Missing people, Tricksy lanes, the Ghastly Market. Lessons, blackmail, and best of all adventure.
This book is definitely one of my favourite books of this year! I can't wait now for number 3! Hopefully Jessica Townsend will pop into our shop and let us chat about how fantastic nevermoor and her characters are. We all lover her series and can't wait for more!
A MUST READ BOOK FOR EVERYONE!
“FANTABULOUS book series for all ages!!”
(Hardback)
Seriously, you guys!!
Adult, YA, Middle-Grade, it doesn’t matter.
We all started reading because it takes us somewhere. Somewhere where anything is possible. Somewhere where we can visit other worlds.
Jessica Townsend has done a FANTABULOUS job of building worlds and characters. From a hotel that makes me think of the Willy Wonka factory to a magical school that is not Hogwarts, this book has EVERYTHING!
Can’t wait for HOLLOWPOX!!
