“Daughter loves”
(Hardback)
by JJ
After reading Nevermoor with my 8yr old she could hardly wait for the sequel. She loves the story and the characters and hopes there’s more to come. From an adults point of view, it reads well and has a good narrative. The story is refreshing and should appeal to boys and girls. Having never read Harry Potter I can’t compare but Nevermoor and Wundersmith are true delights.
“It is brilliant”
(Hardback)
by Lydia Parker
We love this. Her imagination and ability to write it in a captivating story is fantastic. Our 7&4 year old kept falling my asleep (when we read this as a bedtime story) so we kept reading it to each other regardless just so we could see what happens :) .
“Impatiently awaiting book three!”
(Hardback)
by Caitlin
Another excellent book from Jessica Townsend in the Nevermoor series. I found myself connecting with all of the characters even more in this sequel. The frustration and isolation felt by Morrigan in this book is so painful to read, you just really want everything to be okay! Book two wasn't as exhilarating as book one, but the expansion of the world, the inner-workings of Wunsoc and Morrigan's interactions with the Wundersmith are all reasons to keep going with this series. Just as quick to read as book one, but I do feel like less 'happened' this time around. But I'm definitely not alone when I say I'm eagerly awaiting book three!
“Wundrous!”
(Hardback)
by Eleanor at Barnstaple
I loved this book. I was having a stressful week and this was everything I needed to relax. I could completely immerse myself in Morrigan’s world and not worry about anything else. It is so wonderful to find a book which will do that. I very much enjoyed finding out more about Nevermoor and the people within it. When I saw Jessica Townsend at Cheltenham she suggested this might be a nine book series which was fantastic news and I am already looking forward to book three.
“Wunderful!”
(Paperback)
by Clive From Hants
Amazing follow up to the first book, hard to put down but had to force myself as didn't want it to end. Now for the third book, cannot wait and I say that as an adult reader.
