“One of the best of Dystopian Fiction”
(Hardback)
by Patty Dohle at Witney
Having grown up in the Cold War, dystopian fiction has both fascinated and terrified me since childhood, yet I have compulsively ploughed my way through endless piles of books of the genre. Wool is the first in a long time which haunted me so much I can't get it out of my head. It has a claustrophobic bleakness that made me shudder, reminding me of my first encounters with dystopian writing, when it still freaked me out properly (I'm all dead inside now...). It's "1984" meets "Logan's Run" meets "Sky Blue"... and when I heard Ridley Scott might want to make a film, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. It's been called a phenomenon, and once you get your teeth into it, you'll know why. I beg you to read this book, you will never forget it!

The world that this book creates is beyond amazing. You are left inching to read more at the end of every chapter. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves the dystopian theme and I can’t wait to pick up and read the next one!
