(Paperback)
by Nova McCormack
Oh yes, oh yes! I was anticipating this read, and boy did it deliver. Saphira has grit and fight. She’s spent her whole life sheltered, her path seemingly all planned out until her villainous fated mate turns on her. She could cower, but instead, she rises stronger than ever. King Kaeleron (giggle) is your classic tall, dark, toxic, pointy-eared fae, but he’s also so much more. He knows he needs Saphira for his revenge, though he doesn’t know how. They fight, they bicker, they fall, and when they finally realize they would fight, kill, and burn the world for one another, it is overwhelming. Absolutely beautiful. The world is so intriguing. I need more. The side characters are phenomenal, and I’m desperately hoping for more page-time for Malakai (and maybe Everlee

Firstly, I am a sucker for a shadow daddy! I don't know what it is about the darkness they emit, but i love it! King Kaeleron is to die for. He can banter, be romantic and dangerous with his tongue
