An excellent book charting the history of a Berlin family and there associates from 1899 to 1945. It shows how many ordinary Germans were mesmerised by the Nazi movement and got involved in the unspeakable practices which were carried out. It also shows how many Germans rejected Hitler and some of the difficulties they encountered. Give it a read, you will not be disappointed.
