I’ll be honest - I wasn’t sure a wrestler romance would be my thing. But Wild Side completely won me over, and it's hands down my favourite in the series so far. The male lead is to die for, and the chemistry is off the charts. I’m always a sucker for a fake marriage or marriage of convenience trope, and this one works perfectly, with just the right mix of tension, humour, and emotional payoff. Elsie Silver knows how to write a romance that makes you feel everything, and this one had me hooked from the first page. An easy five stars.

However all that changes when he gains guardianship of Milo, the three year old son of his former tenant Erika Garrison. Erika is Tabitha’s sister who we meet earlier in the series. Tabitha is distraught following the death of her sister and now her priority is taking care of her nephew Milo. But she is in for a rude awakening when her sister’s landlord Rhys Dupris informs her that he is now legally Milo’s guardian. This is the first romance I’ve read where a main character is a wrestler and I was so intrigued by what led Rhys to becoming one and how he separated his personal life with his work, all while maintaining a sense of anonymity as well. Tabitha being supportive of Rhys’ career was so sweet to see considering they hated each other at the start, she could’ve easily made fun of it or exposed him to the public but that is not the type of person she is. Which in turn proves to Rhys she is not as untrustworthy as he initially thought. Wild Side really proves that distance makes the heart grow fonder which was a nice change from the usual forced proximity romances. This book showed that whilst Rhys trusted very few people he built a genuine and strong connection with Tabitha, when he was away from her he still made the effort to check in on her and Milo, their marriage might have been fake at the start but those feelings of camaraderie were very real. The book does have some slight miscommunication at the start that could’ve resolved many problems that Tabby and Rhys face earlier in the book but if they did who knows if the two would’ve ended up together, so I’ll allow it. It honestly added to the build up of their relationship going from intense hate to heartfelt love. Overall this was such a bittersweet romance

Well Elsie Silver does it again... Rhys and Tabby's story and boy what a story!! We initially come across the both of them earlier in the Rose Hill Series, with Tabby dumping Rhys with the guys at the bowling alley, and of course something about Rhys which comes to light in this story also has previously come up. So of course you know there was something there that needed to be examined in more detail. This is a story of enemies to lovers, heartbreak, trust, secrets, found family, marriage of convenience, banter and of course the slow burn between the two of them. Let's just say I am here for it all. Loved their story and didn't want it to end. Rhys is definitely up there with Cade and West battling for supremacy of the top spot of Elsie's Men

I was very very lucky to receive an early reading copy of this, absolutely devoured it! I love this series anyway and this book just added to it! Was definitely not a fan of Tabby at first but I think the more you get to see her development and the development between her and Rhys, the love for her grows and especially seeing her with Milo. Rhys and Milo together were the absolute cutest and I think in general Milo just made the book! I loved it. I can’t wait to see what’s next

A fun and emotional marriage-of-convenience romance. I loved Tabitha—strong, selfless, and determined—and her dynamic with grumpy, broody Rhys was compelling. He’s not my favourite (Cade still reigns supreme
