Absolutely fantastic book. Despite being born a decade later, it brought back so many memories.

my daughter got this book for me and i could not put it down being brought up in a tenement everything Robert Douglas had written was so true and brought back a lot of good memories .You will enjoy reading this and i laughed ,and also it was sad in parts I'm sure you will relate to this book if you were brought up in tenement .Read the 2 thst follow it .Hope there are more to come great book

Fantastic book, anyone who was brought up in a tenement building should read this (even those who didin't) I could relate to everything. So funny (sometimes sad) Absolutely loved it.
