Well what a read! I have taken John Lanchester's book slowly and will read it more than once. Mr. Lanchester pulls no punches in his vocabulary, or assertions as to whom is to blame for the financial crisis we now find ourselves "propping" up. I am amazed at the contrivance and longlevity of this most disasterous situation and wonder if I will ever trust a bank, or banker ever again! A general moral reverbrates through the whole book of "human greed", involving characterless fraud of the most disturbing kind. It really makes one think that perhaps the day may come when money will go out of fashion. What, may I ask, will the "financers" play with then, I wonder!

OMG what a mess the banks have made looking after our money! This book explains everything so well. However, I will be reading it again just so that I can understand everything. A must read!
