Wow! Kiersten Modglin has done it again. I totally devoured this book in one sitting. A dark and sinister domestic thriller which had me gripped from the very first chapter. Hudson and Willa Ashley are happily married and both have their dream careers helping others. Hudson is a gynecologist and Willa works at an adoption agency. Hudson has another job though, and it's one that could ruin their happy marriage forever. One night he takes an unplanned risk, but things immediately take a sinister turn. Secrets are exposed and the Ashleys find themselves in an impossible position with not only their careers on the line, but their lives too. Chapters alternating between the point of view of both Hudson and Willa. If you have never read anything by Kiersten before then what are you waiting for? She is without a doubt one of my favourite go to authors for domestic suspense with plenty of twists!

I really enjoyed listening to this thriller while I was doing a jigsaw puzzle. The narrators of the book were fantastic, and they did a great job. The story is about a couple called Hudson and Willa who are successful people, but they need some extra money, so Hudson still does his job as an escort, alongside being a doctor. While escorting a client, Hudson gets into bother and his client starts blackmailing him so that she can get them to give her a baby. I found this concept really interesting, and I enjoyed all the twists and turns that came from it. I liked how this story was different to a lot of other thrillers, and this made it more enjoyable. I recommend this book highly, and I will be sure to check out more of this author's books.
