It is a Twilight saga of the new generation, instead of vampires and werewolves there is a mafia clan and a girl that somehow falls into all of this. This story has everything from forbidden love, strange situations to blood spilling. Catherin Doyle really found a great topic for a YA fiction and with her great sense for writing and story plot she made this book an exciting read that you read from cover to cover in an instant. Cannot wait for the sequel.

I cannot believe that almost nine years after I first stumbled across this book in the library I’m still absolutely devouring it. I haven’t re-read this series in years but with the recent new covers I decided to revisit them and I’m so relieved to find these books still hold up now. I forgot just how much I love Catherine Doyle’s writing. I definitely need to get round to reading her other books soon!
