It makes me appreciate my childhood when I read books like this Ugly takes you to a place no one wants to be. But sadly many are. I purchased this book and two others that were recommended to me THE SEP KID, and A House Full of Whispers. Whispers and Ugly came out on top and both left me with one thought, thank god for being me.
