it was enjoyable as you did not know how it was going to finish and I like his book very much.
“The modern day concept of fairytales - the truth! ”
(Paperback)
A thoroughly enjoyable read. I had purchased this as one of four books for a week in the sun, however did not expect to finish this book so quickly. A beautiful read which focuses upon the unique and strong bond between father and daughter. Their relationship is so effortlessly captured, you'll have moment where you'll be wishing you had your own London. The book is a truly powerful look at the way society views the rights of mothers and fathers during the battle for custody - who actually has more rights? Is circumstance really that overlooked? A tale of new love, self respect, the adventures you have as a child that stay with you forever and the marks that are left on you as an adult and how those influence you as a parent. This is a book that reminds you that change is good and that being broken doesn't always mean you can't be fixed. Sometimes people walk into our lives for a reason and we have to be willing to take them for what they are and are offering. I never re-read books but I can already see this being a book I plan to go back to. It has moments you'll want to re-experience over and over again. You'll be angered, you'll cry, you'll laugh. One of my all time favourite books! Highly recommend.
