Reviews: Tower (1)
“Brilliant!”
(Hardback)
What a brilliant read! Jones has the talent like that of Weir and Starkey, creating a history book that is both informative and entertaining. Jones uses the Tower as a window through which to view the most exciting scandals and dramas of British history: the War of the Roses, the missing Princes, the story of how Lady Nithsdale engineered her husbands' escape from the Tower, and of course gruesome Tudor beheadings. A fascinating read for anyone.
