Written for landscape architects, horticulturalists and gardeners this is a beautifully presented book that also provides a good reference for any who work in the environmental field, especially those who come across these breeds but are unfamiliar with them (thinking of myself here, native species not a problem but those imports and ornamentals cause me no end of grief when doing habitat surveys). While this is written as a marketing tool as well as a reference guide, this only comes through in the introduction where Barcham's specialist knowledge is used. Overall this is a very useful guide for those who work in the sector and a good reference point for those on the periphery.
