My daughter loves this book. We have all the Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler books, they are all fantastic. Axel creates brilliant illustrations, very colourful and imaginative. All their rhyming books are very pleasant to read and great for kids to join in, time after time after time. My daughter particularly likes to pretend to be the fish when the teacher is taking the school register - Yes Miss Skate. Tiddler, Tiddler, Tiddler's late. This book is very clever and has a real good ending which will make you smile. A book we will never tire from reading.

It is better than brilliant! My son loves it and we love to read it together, the pictures, the ryhme and the story are fantastic and it is brilliant as there are some parts that he joins in and it makes it more enjoyable.

Another brilliant Julia Donaldson book. She really has a gift with rhymes and rhythm and appeal to both children an adults - a winning formula which encourages adults to read and children to listen to story books ! This reading is the joyful beginnings of a lifetime fo reading. Cheeky little toddler loves stories but they are nearly his downfall! You will love reading his story.

This is the best book so far by the clever Gruffalo duo. I gave this to my 2 year old for Christmas and he insists we read it EVERY night as one of his bedtime books, which I don't mind as it is a pleasure to read. There are fantastic characters, brilliant pictures and a rhyming storyline which rolls off the tongue. WE LOVE IT!
