An insightful and very open account of living with anxiety and addiction, at times uncomfortable, often sad, often inspiring and funny, overall brings admiration and hope. Be kind to others, be kind to yourself. Well done Johnny JR for your well-written, honest account. Congratulations on your continuing sobriety, long may it continue despite the challenges. I feel a bit mean saying that an autobiography with such pain caused by alcohol is "hilarious" but read it and see if you don't agree with me. This book has helped me forgive my younger self for the damage I did for years, misusing alcohol. I am just lucky that I could eventually stop it by myself (having other lives dependent on me 24/7 was the main reason). Huge love and respect to John Robins for writing the book I needed to read.
