Really enjoyed this book — gripping from start to finish and just the right length to fully take it all in without feeling overloaded.It gave a great insight into Themistocles, especially the parts you don’t usually hear about. I came away learning quite a bit that I didn’t know before, which always makes a history read worthwhile.Themistocles is such an interesting character as well — his life alone would make an incredible historical fiction series.I’d definitely recommend Michael Scott as an author — clear, engaging, and easy to follow without losing depth.If you’re into ancient history, particularly Greece and naval warfare, this is well worth picking up.
