Reading this book was rather like being at the theatre but unable to see the characters as there are few descriptions. The story flows easily and is without chapters. It is replete with expletives which took me sometime to get used to! Nevertheless it conveys a real sense of place and the two male central characters are very sensitively drawn. The complexities of human interactions are finely nuanced. Ultimately a believable and moving story.
