As always, you just can not help but enjoy an Evie Hunter book. This latest read is filled with entertaining characters and a storyline that pulled me in and kept me captivated the whole way through.If you like an entertaining book with humour and twists, this is one you just can't miss. It's a bit of a shame. It's A good story but, there are too many characters. In the end, I couldn't make out the good guys from the bad. It had twists and turns on who was who. It didn't really keep my attention which is very unusual for me. I know I'm in for a good read when I find myself keep returning the book. Sadly this wasn't one of them.

On board the super yacht Perseus, moored in the glamorous harbour in Antibes, Freya Addison is settling into her new role as hostess. The other crew members all like Freya, she is calm and diligent, and a hard worker, but what they don't know is that Freya has a secret and an ulterior motive for being on board. A man who ripped the heart out of Freya's family. There were quite a lot of characters to keep track of, and quite a lot going on in this book. Freya has an ulterior motive for being on the luxury yacht. Freya is planning on getting revenge on the yacht's owner, Julian Falcon. He had ruined her family's lives. The pace is steady, the characters are well-developed. It's a quick and easy read. I wouldn't categorise this as a thriller, but it's still a good book to read. This tale of revenge is not so much a thriller, nonetheless it's a speedy page-turner. Freya is aboard the super yacht Perseus and she's determined to take down it's owner, Julian Falcon - along with most of his deck crew apparently. This had a really good premise - we love a bit of revenge! But it did lack substance and depth, there were a lot of superfluous characters to keep track and in the end, there was no real suspense.
