I loved Dr Chatterjee's first book, The 4 Pillar Plan and I'm equally as impressed with The Stress Solution. Not only is it a lovely book to own as it's beautifully laid out but it's packed full with information which will help you to achieve a happier, healthier life by making small, simple changes. The book is very easy to follow as it has loads of bullet points and check lists which I love!

I like that this book is not just about what not to eat, pounding out the miles on a run or even the benefits of meditation that most of us will never achieve. It provides enough choice and a framework to help you choose what will work for your unique stress issues. I found the sections on purpose and connection probably the most thought-provoking and relevant for me with simple concepts, takeaways that I can put into action. Like his other book, it speaks to everyone differently, so not sure how helpful my review is as each person will take from it what they need. Highly recommend this as a great read to start the new year.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone. It really helped me when I was going through a period of real anxiety during lockdown, providing simple, tangible steps that we can all do to reduce stress levels in the hectic modern world.
I would also highly recommend Dr Chaterjee’s podcast ‘Feel better, live more’ for consistently great health advice, inspiring stories and thought-provoking conversations’.
