having read this book for a competition when i was in school, i got completely hooked on it, needless to say it was voted the best and i actually got to meet the author and needless to say i leapt at this opportunity and the opportunity to buy the next two books in the series. i now have all of them and would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants a good read.

I bought this book for my son when it first came out and I ended up reading it myself . After reading ' The Spook's Apprentice ' I had to go out and buy ' The Spook's Curse '. I've been hooked ever since . The ' Wardstone Chronicles ' books are at the top of my list for all time greats . Joseph Delaney is one of the best authors about . He captures the imagination on every page. Read these books and you'll agree with me,

My friend had been trying to get me to read these for ages so i finally gave in and read the god damn things......but i couldnt of been more wrongim reading the 4th at the moment and theyve been brilliant all the way throughnot exactly difficult reads but very entertaining :)Milly xx
