As expected this is fantastic I am not giving the storyline away!

Yet again phillip pullman has written one of the best books of all time. It will give you suspense, love and hope through the whole of the book. An outstanding, unbeatable adventure only the fact that it has to end is bad

I love his dark materials trilogy and have been lucky enough to buy both special signed editions of the new trilogy. The books are beautiful additions to my bookshelf. This book has been my favourite in the series so far and I can’t wait to read the final instalment to see what will happen to Lyra and Malcolm and fingers crossed, I hope to hear about Will too and what has been happening in his world and whether the two worlds will come together/collide in the next instalment.

this is a book I would recommend to anyone who enjoyed the original 3 volume book His dark materials, It continues the story off Lyra after the original .. She is older and at university. and it follows her adventures in such an interesting way that you do not want to put it down. I cannot wait for the next book in the series
