Reviews: The Satsuma Complex (47)
“A sweet thriller”
(Paperback)
by Avid reader
I loved this story , so simple and yet it had me wanting to keep on reading it. You couldn’t help but love Gary with all of his funny ways and what seemed his innocence but he got there in the end.
“Lost in Mortimers imagination”
(Hardback)
by Mark Harden
What a great read from Bob, funny , full of Bobs mannerisms and thoughts, random, clever and never dull. Some great characters , I even liked the dog . As a non fiction reader I really enjoyed it
“Hilarious Mortimer Thriller”
(Hardback)
by Benjamin Finney
If you enjoy the zaniness of Bob Mortimers humour and story telling then this is the book for you. A thriller based around the boring and unassuming Gary Thorn who gets wrapped up in corruption and host of eccentric characters. The book is an enjoyable read and very Bob Mortimer. I'm excited for the sequel 'The Hotel Avocado'.
“It’s just so Bob”
(Hardback)
by Levin
A great joy and pleasure to read. A well crafted story and with the great man speaking to you through every page
“page turner”

Loved the free flowing style bob has got it felt nothing needed explaining , He describes Gary as a good honest guy that takes the world as it ,meeting Emily was the best thing to happen to him even if she didn.t know it at the time -- The idea that talking to a squirrel is strange ( talking for him) haha at least you get the answer you want -- Just another of Bobs Quirky humour Loved it
