Great book, hilarious and fun read

Bob’s whit and humour is heavily weaved throughout this entire book, whilst remaining a quite serious storyline at times. His balance of plot and descriptive text is very well balanced and I struggled to put the book down. He has a remarkable ability to create intentionally dull characters and scenarios in a way that’s really fun to read. I can’t imagine anyone wouldn’t enjoy this

Half romance, half thriller, it’s overall just a really lovely story, with splashes of classic Bob Mortimer every now and then. Can’t remember reading a book that made me as excited to read the next chapter as this one.

Really enjoyed the book although came to the end all to soon, a real page turner, cannot wait for the next one.

Didn't know what to expect from this book, but I have a lot of time for Bob Mortimer, who I find utterly hilarious. The book is so well written, and he has such a lovely way of setting the scene with an unmatched imagination. I could barely put the book down and read it in 2 days (v fast for me!), raving about it to anyone who'll listen. Great book and strongly recommend!
