I’m a sucker for Scottish crime of any description, & this one is a very different premise. I love a strong woman & Yvonne is certainly that. She runs a publishing company; her successful public persona on one hand & her questionable private life on the other. What happens when they collide? It is very difficult to write more without giving away spoilers, so I won’t. Suffice it to say, I will read this author again but hopefully a bit grittier & less smooching next time. Recommended.
