Alistair Carr made me feel almost as though I had been travelling across the Manga myself! He gives a descriptive, vibrant account of his journey with his two Tubu companions. He also includes fair bit of local history where relevant, giving the reader a more in depth understanding about the significance of his travels. I'll be on the look out for more titles from him.
