Being an Archaeological and Anthropological nut for me this is the most exciting book that I have read in a while. Kelly's fresh approach to our global heritage is astounding, and her findings support a new theory on how our ancestors related so deeply with their surrounding environment. The author's research explores the techniques in which ancient civilisations immortalised the meaning of place through social activities such as storytelling and music. The book is divided into manageable chapters and subheadings allowing the reader to reflect and appreciate the subject.
