Reviews: The Intersection (1)
“A good mystery”
(Paperback)
by Deb Day
I love Scottish crime so I was really looking forward to reading this but, to be honest, it could have been set anywhere. Em has not left her home for three years. She moved to Glasgow, from America, following the death of her husband & fills her days staring out of the window & making up stories about the people crossing the intersection below. She thinks she sees her husband crossing the road; she finds herself stalked by an anonymous woman; explosions are happening. How? Why? The book is about Em’s search for the truth about her husband’s death & to discover why someone wants her dead. This was a very easy read but having invested in the story, & wanting to know why what happened happened, I was disappointed by the conclusion which seemed rushed. That being said, it was a good mystery & had some light-hearted moments.
