This is a lovely book to scroll through and worth the price. The phrase ‘the house is the client’ will stay with me. It’s a story of renovation/s and the focus is on historical ways of doing things. The spaces created are museum-like or resemble film sets. Beautiful though hard to translate if like me you seek inspiration on how to combine traditional with the best of current approaches to design and renovation.
