This is the latest book in the Cato and Macro Eagles series. I have just finished reading the book and was totally absorbing as all the previous books in the series. I could not recommend this series highly enough to everyone who likes historical adventure stories. Cato and Macro are the central people and traces their story from when they first meet in the Roman Army and covers there adventures in various countries of the world.
