Reviews: The Ecliptic (2)
“Amazing story to read....”
(Hardback)
This amazing novel takes you on a journey from the 1960's London art scene to the art colony on the Princess Islands in Istanbul. Every part in the book finishes with a cliffhanger, starting with a new beginning and story. They are so cleverly constructed that reading about art, love, creativity and obsession feels like putting a jigsaw puzzle together. When every piece of the story slots into the right place the clearer picture slowly reveals itself, then again, completely surprises you with a most unexpected ending.
I must say that this novel is a work of genius. It is also a wonderful treat for lovers of David Mitchell's books.
“The Ecliptic”
(Paperback)
A fantastic second novel from Benjamin Wood. Wonderful. clever storytelling.
I highly recommend this and Wood's first novel, The Bellwether Revivals.
