This book will seep into your soul. It's my favourite book at the moment. The suffolk soil, the history, the discovery, the characters, the meandering pace, the vernacular. We need more books like this. Wonderful.

A superbly written, understated book that I simply did not want to put down. Highly recommended even after you've seen the film.
