Reviews: The Cuckoo's Calling (33)
“Great!”
(Paperback)

This book was incredible, I loved the storyline, the suspense, the curiosity. Being a good crime fiction book it gets you thinking - makes you wonder. The "who dunnit" element of the book was fab. The story flowed well, and the characters were well presented. This book took me by surprise having not read many crime fiction stories before I wasnt sure whether or not I would like it. I LOVED it. (Especially when the pieces of the puzzle all came together!) This is definitely a must-read! I would recommend it to anyone. If you want a book that you cant put down, then get this one!

Really enjoyed this book, kept you guessing right to the end. Robert Galbraith can certainly write, I wonder if he's thought of trying his hand at writing books for children? I think he'd do well.
“Breathtaking brilliant”

I absolutely loved this book! It gripped me right for the start to the point were I could hardly put it down. All throughout I was trying to figure out how it would end but I could never have expected the outcome. I cannot wait to read the rest of the books in this series I just hope the rest of them now live up to my expectations.

J.K Rowling is a master storyteller. Under her sudonym, she has proved to be a classy crime writer. This first book in the ‘Strike’ series is a real page turner, easy to read and I would recommend to anyone.
