Influenced by the title plus the intriguing synopsis, I grabbed the offer to read and review this book, I quickly discovered that categorising it as a 'rom-com' was an exaggeration. The first half, although setting the scene for what followed, was slow and long-winded, editing out unnecessary trivia would be a vast improvement.
