Combination of these elements is what makes this book a must, any psychology enthusiast will love this. Lightly humorous at some points, packed with ideas worth rumination, and philosophical nearing the end. Any students will take something away from this book for studies or dissertation work etc.

Eagleman writes with a simplicity and ease that makes complex topics easy for neophytes to follow. I have started applying several of the concepts to my own awareness and sharing the most interesting cases with my colleagues and friends. As a scientist I am normally quite critical of popular science and personally prefer fiction, but the style of this writing and storyline were a real gem. I can't wait to read more!
