Don Winslow is, for my money, the finest crime writer out there right now. And this is a majestic conclusion to this trilogy, which includes The Power Of The Dog and The Cartel. Apart from a couple breaks for meals, I could not put it down.

The final part of this trilogy moves back and forwards from the Mexican theater and concludes this magnificent tale of the Narco world. An absolute masterpiece. A never to be beaten epic tale of the war against drugs.
