Reviews: The Binding (194)
“An excellent start to the year”
(Paperback)
Some books build slowly and you just know that the book isn't for you. Others build slowly and you just know that it's going to be amazing! This is how I felt when I started The Binding, I just knew we were building to something huge and I was not disappointed. A book deserving of our Book of the Month.

I absolutely loved it. It was a page turner that I struggled to put down.
Great sense of place and people. An unusual story.

Lets keep life simple - I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS BOOK!
But please tell me why are we waiting until January to publish this would have solved ALL my Christmas shopping issues!
The outside of the book is exquisite - and that's just the proof - I can't wait to see the beauty of the first editions!
The story is fantastic! Yes, fantastic!
I have nothing more to say - I am in love with it - I will be recommending this to everyone in January!
“Spellbinding”
(Hardback)
A spellbinding and beautiful novel of lost love and the corruption of power.
It’s hard to believe that this is Collins’ first novel, the characters are so perfectly formed and the villains so viscerally dark that you really feel the highs and lows (there’s a LOT of lows) of Emmett’s journey into the mysterious and contentious world of Binding as it reveals more to him about himself than he knew it possibly could.
Exceptional writing accompanied by some narrative and structural wizardry, it’s easy to understand the hype behind this incredible book’s release. Absolutely brilliant.
I am excited to see what Bridget Collins cooks up next!
“Interesting book and original”
(Hardback)
I just finished the book I found the synopsis original never came across such before and I liked the characters and the plotting. I was engaged with it from the start and mid way I had shock as the plot went to unexpected direction still enjoying the flow. the book has multi layers and the characters are dancing with the story rythem beautifully. The only thing is the plot left some characters behind toward the end and they became from major character to forgotten like Emmet family and particularly his sister as I was expecting the book to refer to them and engage them more toward the end but it is a good read never the less.
