This book is a great start to the series. The stroy is based around knox him self but you also have other charecters views. its is a fast pased action adventure with a mystry on the side. great book well worth a read. PS It has nothing to do with Vampires or fantasy. lol.

I came to this novel after finishing the Sussman trilogy and in some ways it's a cracking read. It's fast paced and action packed but lacks the finese of Sussman; the story isn't quite so well researched, the characters aren't so well developed or as believable, there are a few mistakes in the book which break the spell. However, I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt and read the second in the series in the hope of a little more sophistication. I have recommended this book to family.
