Reviews: Surrounded by Idiots (18)
“An interesting insight into behaviour and teams.”
(Paperback)
by Kate Morton at Ayr
This is one of those books, that you may have heard of, must have seen, possibly not read the blurb of, unyet it may be somewhere in your consciousness. There are spin-off books too which looks quite amusing, especially surrounded by vampires! I am pleased to report that it doesn't jar, is informative and has some very funny anecdotes in it. It's an alternate way of explaining personality, intent and behaviour in the workplace and beyond. Most people are a mix of two or maybe three colours. You will recognise yourself and colleagues here. It's illuminating and it'll be interesting to apply this learning. Workplaces benefit from lots of different skills and personalities. This will help you understand yourself and others and make sense of group dynamics.
“Everyone should read this book”
(Paperback)
by karen savegnago
Honestly this booked helped me a lot to understand people around me. Have struggled to get my point across many times.. turns out I am a lot of "red and blue". By reading what each colour personality I could see each person I know and categorize them into these colours.. I found it very helpful to learn how to approach people differently and have seen incredible results in both my professional and personal lives.
“Usefool tool”
(Paperback)
by Leonela Mendes
I found this a very interesting book, written in a entertaining way. I already read it, and I will apply it to my personal and professional relationships.
“PEOPLE WATCHING”
(Paperback)
by MELODY SLADE
A very interesting read which makes the whole idea of people watching a great deal more fun
“Insight and affirmation of your gut feelings in one book”
(Paperback)
by Jacqueline Broddell
Cracking read and something I will be returning to again and again for reference. I defy anyone not to read this and have people they know pop into their head as soon as he starts describing the character types. You'll also recognise yourself. This book makes sense of things that you already suspected and provides a good basis for dealing with those characters that you may find a bit challenging in life.
