This is a great little book that deserves to be read to all. A collection of short stories that look at what the afterlife could be like. I found them fascinating and spent a long time thinking about the different themes and outlooks.

i bought this book after noticing stephen fry had recommended it, and i can definataly see why. i read about 5 chapters a night which i suggest others do as it gives you time to think about the possibilities of what each chapter is really saying. I was blown away by the "tales". It was really insightful and gets you really thinking about the possibilities of the afterlife and how the human had affected certain outcomes. of course we have are own opinion of what awaits us but this book is a really good start if your just a bit curious for what this great author thinks :) its smart, even genius. great read, highly recommended.
