Reviews: Steppenwolf (3)
“What a superb book.”
(Paperback)
by N A Rushton
It's difficult to review a book so great as this without leaving spoilers, so I'll simply say that not only do I feel that this book was written for me, but I also feel as though it was written through me. I now aspire to write something as thought provoking and imaginative as this myself!
“An easy read that lived up to the reviews”

Stands the test of time very well. Thoroughly enjoyed this book.
“Steppenwolf”

I originally picked up 'Steppenwolf' as a recommendation online and I do not regret it! The storyline gets us to follow Harry, a character whose self-alienation and criticism towards both himself and the perceptions of others, and leads us through an adventure through his subtle delusions. It's my favourite novel ever since I've started shopping at Waterstones and it gets the reader to indulge in the pleasures of short living and to embrace death for its salvation and not as an emergency exit. Gotta love Herman Hesse
