Reviews: Star Wars: Padawan (5)
“Kept me hooked”
(Paperback)
This was the first Star Wars book I read and I was not disappointed. I really enjoyed this book, it was the sort of book that I couldn't put down. It was interesting to see the thoughts and feelings of a young teenage Obi Wan who is trying to understand and control his feelings. I would recommend this book without a doubt.
“a newbie”
(Paperback)
obi wan decades before the Skywalker saga began is an apprentice and is undecided and it is a brilliant idea to get a loved one for a person who is after a book which shows obi wan's time as a learner when he is almost a master and like Anakin preferred to think with his lightsaber
“It’s cute”
(Hardback)
It’s written for tweens/teens, but I think most people could relate to the story. It’s nothing groundbreaking, and it doesn’t need to be.
“A book everybody has been after”
(Hardback)
Obi wan’s time as a padawan learner ,it is a brilliant book and has a lot of the 16 year old obi wan ,an absolute must for Star Wars fans
“Obi-wan's Adventure”
(Hardback)
Kiersten perfectly captures what an anxious 16 year old boy's thoughts are like. This book takes us to somewhere new in the Star Wars universe which is great and I wish I could actually go to that planet. The only slight reason it's not a 5 star book for me is that it's a little bit too repetative in places as you're given the same information just in different words.
Overall I enjoyed this read, it made me laugh and fear for the characters, including Obi-wan even though we know where he will end up.
