“A gentle gem”

A well written and researched book. Had to read to end to see the outcome. Enjoyed the gentle narrative and well observed characters.
“So, so wonderful”
(Hardback)
Nothing quite prepare you for this gentle, nostalgic wonder. This is such an unusual story, from the first page you are captivated by the subject matter.
just as you start to feel comfortable you get two punches leaving you with a dropped jaw. Give this your time, it will more than reward you.
“A beautiful book, a moving story.”
(Hardback)
Jean Swinney, works for the North Kent Echo in 1957. She investigates a possible virgin birth by a resident of Sidcup. This is just like a detective story, but there is no crime. The. characters are true to life and we get very involved with them. The setting of 1950s London Suburbia is wonderful and we feel ourselves back in that time. I highly recommend this book for an interesting and emotional read.
“Gentle and gorgeous”
(Hardback)
Thank you to the publishers for this review copy and to everyone who constantly recommended that I should read this.
I would say this was a very gentle and gorgeous love story, but obviously love is never straight forward and not without problems.
Very well written and happy to recommend to everyone, perhaps it will make you consider your own life?
Love life, you don't know what tomorrow will bring.
