The world of Sleeper is very well established in few pages and will leave you wanting more. This first book in the coming series sets up the background of the Sleepers, the energy crisis, and human space travel very well. There are two pages of writing used as exposition which could be integrated into the story better- either through design or within the narrative. There are also a few moments that could benefit from a few extra illustrations or prose to create a smoother narrative transition. I am also not entirely a fan of the artwork. There is a bit of confusion caused by the style of illustration which is, at times, less detailed than I would like. For example, I am unclear if the head of the programme is meant to look less human and more like the Sleeper or if this is just the illustration colouring and style. That being said, the story does suck you in and leave you wanting more. And again, the concept of the Sleeper and Titan Green and the energy crisis can only get better in future books.
