This book is an excellent read, especially for a climber! The book captures one man's passion for a sport as well as charting the highlights of history in the slate quarries of North Wales, which are in themselves one of the most captivating and magical hidden treasures in Britain. Great book, great characters. I have seen it has also (deservedly) been nominated for the Boardman Tasker!
